From the Studio
Over the past few weeks, I've been enjoying some much needed time in my sewing room. I finally finished a quilt that, if I'm being honest, almost got the best of me! With hundreds of tiny pieces, it became a true labor of love, but seeing that last stitch go in made every moment worthwhile.
Instead of jumping straight into another project, I gave myself permission to have a "reset week." I reorganized my fabric shelves, sorted through my scrap bins, and refreshed my cutting area. It was exactly what I needed. It's amazing how a little organization can spark fresh inspiration and make you excited to sew again.
Your Sewing Room Should Feel Like Peace
A sewing room is more than just a place to make quilts, they're where we unwind, create, and spend time doing something we love. For me, keeping that space peaceful starts with keeping it manageable... even if it's organized chaos ;)
I'm naturally a bit of a minimalist, so I try to declutter a little at a time instead of letting things pile up. I am not a neat freak by any means and have no intention for a picture perfect sewing studio, but when my space feels calm, my creativity seems to follow.

What's one thing in your sewing room you couldn't live without?
