Binding Services

With our binding services, please be sure to provide your desired fabric and appropriate yardage. We will do the rest (cut, sew, and bind the strips).

How?

1. Serge the entire circumference of the quilt for stability.
2. Prepare the binding strips by cutting the yardage into 2.25" strips. We will sew the strips together and press them in half prior to sewing.
3. Attach the binding strips.
   1. By machine: First attach to the back, fold, and finish by stitching the folded edge to the top of the quilt. (See photos below for how the final process will look.)
   2. By hand: First attach to the front, fold, and finish by hand-stitching the edge to the back of the quilt.
4. All corners will be mitered.
